Thyme Chickpea

Soak chickpeas till it sprout, wash it gently and then cook with salt, thyme seed powder and turmeric powder, take it out of flame. Heat pan put some thyme oil, crack cumin and coriander seed add chopped onion and green chili, make it brown, add roughly chopped capsicum and tomato cook for sometime and then add freshly blend paste of thyme seed, cumin, coriander, ginger, garlic and dried mango powder cook till brown then add boiled chickpeas add salt, black pepper powder and red chili powder mix well and cook with lid. At last spread lots of finely chopped fresh thyme leaves. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and onion rings. Thyme chickpeas is ready to serve. It is good to serve thyme chickpeas with steamed rice bowl.
